Privacy Policy
Effective June 24, 2026 · slidefetti is a free tool brought to you by offby5 LLC, based in Chicago, IL.
The short version: your slide is built entirely inside your own browser. We never see, receive, or store the words, colors, or file you make — there's nothing to upload. The only personal information we ever collect is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you enter it. The email field is optional. If you fill it in, we collect that address so we can send you updates about slidefetti and other offby5 tools.
- A copy saved on your device. When you enter your email, we store it in your browser's local storage so you don't have to retype it next time. It lives on your device, not our servers, and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
What we never collect
The content of your slide — your headline, subhead, colors, fonts, and the downloaded file — is generated locally and is never sent to us or anyone else. We don't collect your name, we don't ask for payment (the tool is free), and we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use your email
If you give us your email, we use it to send news and updates about slidefetti and other offby5 products. We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Access, correct, or delete. Email privacy@offby5.com and we'll provide, update, or delete the email address we hold for you.
- If you're in the EEA/UK (GDPR): our legal basis for emailing you is your consent, which you give by submitting your address and can withdraw at any time.
- If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we hold, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Who helps us store your email
We store your email address ourselves on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, which hosts slidefetti. We don't hand your address to a third-party email marketing service. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and name the provider here before we use it.
Keeping it, and keeping it safe
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure.
Children
slidefetti isn't directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Please don't submit an email address if you're under that age.
Where we operate
offby5 LLC operates in Chicago, Illinois, USA. If you submit your email from elsewhere, you consent to it being processed there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
